Hand lettering has been my favorite hobby for over a year now – because aren’t letters beautiful somehow? I’ve always been fascinated by them and their ability to be changed and shaped into something unique.
I’ve seen SO many lettered logos and quotes for the past few months and thought – how can I do that?! So naturally I researched it on Pinterest and found so many helpful tutorials. Then I practiced and practiced while I was bored at work, while watching movies, and my favorite way – journaling in my Bible!
This trick revolutionized my lettering: Draw an extra line on the downstroke of each letter. With tons of practice and the right brush pen, you can do this without going back over each letter. But if you have limited tools – this is the easiest way I’ve found to get the look you want!
My lettering seems to change every few months as I learn new things and practice everyday. Look at this change!
